I’m Angela and I’m a Law School Strategy Coach. (But if you’re here, my hope is that you already knew that!) I work with new and aspiring law students to teach them the strategies to take control of their law school career before they even begin.

Most incoming law students (myself included at the time) have zero idea exactly how to “do” law school right. That’s where I come in. I show them how to craft kickass strategies to get the grades and land their dream job out of law school...but now I’m growing and I need your help!

Now, if we're going to work together, there are a few things you should know about me and my brand:

  • Law School Master Plan (LSMP) is my signature course + group coaching program and the focal point of my brand. In this program we take 0Ls (i.e. incoming law students) from totally clueless to law school boss so that they have a crystal clear gameplan for how to dominate law school before they begin.

  • I love filling my life with awesome people, so being a cool, nice human is a MUST.

  • My brand is growing (so exciting!) and we are constantly outgrowing our systems and creating new ones. This will be a fun role, but you have to be down for the ride.

  • I’m super detail-oriented, but I need to be able to shift from being in the weeds (which I love) to focus on the bigger vision for the business. That’s where you come in. I need someone who is insanely amazing at details and skilled at integration, and also has an eye for strategy. I literally want to grow my business with this person by my side.

This contractor role will start at 10-12 hours per week and scale up as I do. Pay will range from $23-$28 per hour based on experience and skillset. Experience working with online businesses required, and bonus points if you've used any or all of the systems we use in this business!

Okay, Angela. I’m liking this. What do you need me to do?

I’m so glad you asked. As our VA / Community Growth Manager, you will be the first point of contact with the members of our free and paid communities. Your goal will be to guide each person from “Who is Angela Vorpahl?” to raving fan! Your impact will be massive and you will have creative dominion over this aspect of the business. We aren't looking for a typical "VA.” The VA / Community Growth Manager will be the beating heart and backbone of our company and must come with some serious creativity, resourcefulness, and follow through.

 
 
 

Here are some of the things you can expect to do day to day

 

EMAIL LIST GROWTH: Find our target audience and engage with them on social media to convert them to leads.

  • Take the lead on outreach to ideal clients on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook groups to grow leads each week.

  • Collect information for new Facebook group members (within 24 hours).

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Make each community member feel seen, heard, and loved, whether it be on social media, in the free Facebook group, or inside our paid programs.

  • Respond to all comments and messages on our social media channels with excitement and empathy, with the goal to keep the conversation going (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Community, FB group).

  • Plan Monday-Friday posts for free Facebook group to encourage engagement.

  • Gather ideas for “new YouTube videos” and “ideal client” worksheets (based on FB group question responses, social media posts, and comments).

  • Drive energy and engagement during free events (summits, challenges, launches).

TECH TOOLS YOU CAN EXPECT TO USE: Kartra, ClickUp, Google Docs, Slack, Zoom

 

CLIENT JOURNEY: Take the lead on all non-coaching aspects of the client journey.

  • Manage client onboarding, create Q&A documents for coaching calls, post reminders inside the Facebook group, upload Zoom recordings to course platform.

  • Capture testimonials, wins, praise for the program (inside FB group, feedback forms, Zoom call comments).

  • Keep an eye on student progress, reach out to inactive students, answer any non-substantive questions about paid programs.

ADMIN: You will be the first line of defense.

  • Boss of the email inbox: Answer questions and create templated responses re: freebies, accessing the course platform, Q&A forms, collaboration requests, video guests, etc.

  • To-do list queen (or king): Take as many to-do list tasks from the CEO’s plate as possible to free up CEO to focus on revenue-generating projects.

  • You nerd out over details, no matter how small the task (because I totally do too).

  • You have used before (or are totally down to learn): Kartra and ClickUp.

  • You’re interested in being pushed and challenged. Joining a growing company is no joke.

  • You’re a numbers-driven person. You love testing out strategies to see things grow and understand why they grow.

  • You take initiative to get sh*t done.

  • You have experience as a VA and/or Community Growth Manager.
